Spotlight on: Dexter

Dexter is a very sweet bull lurcher from Ireland. He has an outgoing and confident personality. He is a very people-oriented dog — he loves getting attention and engaging with people.

Dexter is very eager to please and he loves practicing basic commands such as sit, down, and stay. He enjoys playing with toys of every kind but stuffies are his favorite. He especially loves rolling in the grass with them. In the summer months, you can always find him playing in the water. When he’s done playing, one of Dexter’s favorite things to do is sit outside and people and bird watch.

Dexter has very good leash manners and loves going on walks and smelling everything. We feel he would do best in a home as an only dog. He has a moderate to high energy level so he would do best in relatively active home with someone who wants to take him on lots of fun adventures.
